OTHELLO
“Honest Iago” Master Of Deception.
Deception is the act of convincing another to believe information that is not true, or not the whole truth as in certain types of half-truths. In “Othello” Iago is set to be the dominant force that causes Othello to "see" the unknown infidelity between his young and beautiful wife Desdemona, and his favorite young and handsome Lieutenant Michael Cassio. Iago is perhaps the most interesting character, in “Othello”; because “Honest” Iago seemed to have the power to manipulate everyone into doing thing that help him move steps closer to his goals and their downfalls. Iago is not your same old ordinary villain, he is unique and smart, he is a good judge of people and their different characters, he therefore uses this to his personal advantage, and e.g., "Thus do I ever make my fool my purse." In Act I, Scene III, he clearly knows that Rodrigo is highly in love with Desdemona, and would do anything to have her, so he swindles money and jewels from him, making it seem as if he would help him obtain Desdemona’s love, meanwhile also uses Rodrigo in reaching his other goals. Because of the fact that Iago is smart and a quick thinker, he easily recognizes advantages of trust and uses that as a powerful tool to forward his purposes because throughout the play, he is well known as “Honest” Iago. Iago Is cruel and a master of his own game, he abuses the trust that people have in him, he poisin’s the mind of those who call him “Friend”, creating negative thoughts and ideas about non-existing issues.
No one is safe from “Honest Iago “Master of Deception”, not even Othello. Iago was supposed to be the dear friend and advisor to Othello; instead he was the architect to the downfall of the “Moor” Othello. Othello that Iago is a person of “exceeding honesty, who knows all qualities, with learned spirit of human dealings.” Act III, Scene III. Iago drowns Othello’s mind in jealousy, anger and rage, turning him against his dear and “Fair” Desdemona, and his “Favorite” Lieutenant Cassio, all because he was not content with the position he had, he so badly wanted to take Cassio’s Honor and place as Lieutenant.
Cassio, just like Redrigo, and Othello was blindly deceived by “Honest” Iago as well. Cassio thought that his so called friend was trying to help him redeem himself and get back on Othello’s good grace, not knowing that Iago was the master behind his ordeal. Iago convinced Cassio to beg Desdemona on his behalf for Othello’s forgiveness, knowing what the outcome would be. At the end of the play, Iago’s Plot is giving away to Othello by Emilia, Iago wife. Iago has always seen his wife as an obstacle to pass through in devising his plans, so therefore he kills her at the end because of the fact that he felt threatened by her confession.
In conclusion, Iago preys on the different character’s of everyone in the play, in order to serve his wicked purposes and reaching his goal. Iago is indeed a true villain, that is ready to hurt and manipulate whoever in order for him to attain what he wants and desires to have.

QUARTER 1
REFLECTION
Literature is described as the body of written works of a language, period, or culture. Literature is of importance to me because I am able to learn about human nature and greatness, the human past and our own pasts, and to be able to learn about other cultures besides my own. When we discover literature we can travel to any place at any time, even to the future, and see how others view the same world. Literature expanses my learning. It helps me think, helps me in my writing, helps me understand things and helps me to learn different but new words and phrases. At first in A.P Literature I didn’t like the idea of “Blogging”, I didn’t quite see the need for it, so therefore I didn’t have too much interest in it, but now I as I get further into it, my interest for slowly grows. My reading goals for next quarter is for me to read and write more, take my time to analyze my reading, and look further into my writing abilities. I can say that I have many strengths and weaknesses in reading; a few of my strengths are that I am a hard worker; I read well, I take notes, I am focused and able to work diligently and I usually read with a dictionary in hand just in case I run into words I am not familiar with. Some of my weaknesses are that, I am sometimes distracted, I tend to read fast when I’m nervous and I usually prepare poorly for tests. My strengths in writing is that I sit and think of the topic, and the objective, and what approach will be used to write, as I write my ideas and thoughts generally flow on. My weaknesses are that I sometimes have a problem with sentence structure and punctuation. Though spelling is my favorite technique in writing, I know that it may be difficult for others, but it is not for me. Spelling can trick many people, because so many words are pronounced differently, than they are when spelled out. As a student, I feel that I have many writing weaknesses. I know that on my own, and because teachers have told me so. Some of the complications I face with writing are not using enough body paragraphs, forgetting a thesis statement, lack of word choice, punctuation errors, and etc. I am unaware at times of my mistakes, but I always try to correct them.

REVISION.......Reunion paper
ESSAY
REUNION: By, John Cheever
They always say a father’s pride is his son; a father should always cherish the moments he has with hi son, even if it is a minute or a second because every little time spent makes a difference in a son’s life. A father should never be negligent of a son’s feelings and always hear out his thoughts and ideas, always be open to suggestions.All this was what this father did not do; he neglected his son’s feelings and never took the time to know Cheever’s interests at all. At this point where they both have finally seen each other again after a long time without contact, his father decides to make a fool out of himself and embarrass him and his son, by acting inappropriately at every restaurant they went, he was rude to the waiter at the first restaurant by yelling “Kellner”, “Garcon”, Comeriere! You!” which thought was very inappropriate, after the waiter asked him if it was him he was clapping at, the father answered him very sarcastically. At the Second restaurant, he ordered the waiter the same way he did the first, in a very rude manner, after the waiter questioned him about age the age of his son, he immediately jumped at the waiter, disrespected him and opted to leave. At the third and fourth restraints, the father was much more rude, he called the third an “impudent domestic”, and at the fourth and final restaurant he basically told the captain and the waiter to go to hell.Being that this man was a full grown man, I was highly disappointed at the behavior he showed in the presence of his son, he didn’t seem to show any regard to his son, he wasn’t a leader, and didn’t show good example of how a real man should behave in public. In other aspects some would say his behavior was quite comedic because of his accent, gestures and maybe facial expressions. I personally felt sorry for Cheever for being put in such horrid situation with his father. This one time that he was able to see his father was ruined by his father’s manner less behavior, his father never took the time to consider his feelings, never asked himself question’s such as, “would my son feel this is appropriate behavior”?, “ Is this what he considers to be right”?, “is this acceptable to him”? And “How does he see me”? All this is what I would consider and ask myself if I was Cheever’s father.
